Monika has been in the health and fitness field for seven years. She is a current NASM certified personal trainer with experience training clients in a variety of classes from spinning and boot camps, to Barre and one-on-one personal training.
She is also a registered dietitian, specializing in weight loss, nutrition education and medical nutrition therapy. In her spare time, Monika enjoys putting a healthy spin on traditional favorites and teaching others how to adapt to a healthier lifestyle.
Born in Cali, Colombia and raised in Miami, Galit received her master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from Florida International University. She has been working in both private and clinical settings ever since.
Her strong scientific and academic background has given her the ability to understand and analyze the field of nutrition from multiple angles, an ability that is complimented by her colorful culinary upbringing. She uses a natural approach to cooking, advocating the use of pure spices, fresh herbs and organic foods.
