Spin Story: Scott Molk

Scott Molk would have never considered trying a Spin class. But now, thanks to his best friend and rockstar instructor Adam, Scott can’t get enough of it. He shares how his life has improved since Redbike, why “real men” do spin, and what keeps him coming back for more.

Tell us how you heard about Redbike:

I heard about Redbike when my best friend Adam Ginsberg became an instructor. We have been best friends since pre-school. I was surprised when he told me he was becoming an instructor because I’m pretty sure his sister Jill forced him to take a class.

What motivated you try to finally try spinning?

Honestly, it was Adam. He kept begging me to try spinning and I never really had the interest in it. There was no specific reason why, but I finally tried it and fell in love with it.

After taking his first RedBike class!

There’s a stigma about guys that spin. What’s your take on that?

I don’t know why people say that. Spinning is for everyone and creates a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy spinning because it’s high intensity cardio and fits into my schedule very easily. People who say men don’t spin should re-consider and actually try it if they haven’t. I mean…look at these two guys

Two transformative months later!

Amazing!

Redbike has made a positive impact on my life in many ways. It helps me take my mind off work and you honestly get a very good work out in 45 minutes. I lead a healthier lifestyle because of Redbike and I’m very thankful for that. Oh and one last thing.. you have FUN while doing it.

We know Adam is your BFF, but what keeps you coming back for more?

I guess it’s no secret who my favorite instructor is (and no he isn’t forcing me to say this). I love his energy and music selection. He is full of energy and really knows how to hype up the class. I’ve taken classes with other instructors, as well, and they all bring a different style and element to class. Overall, the classes at Redbike are the best in Miami (in my opinion). You gotta check it out!
