Spin Story: I Beat Breast Cancer
***This Spin Story is being told from the perspective of RedBike Master Instructor and Brickell’s studio manager, Mari Espinoza***
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, one thing that I love about being a fitness instructor is that I have the opportunity to meet amazing people that have powerful life stories to share. I am so glad to have met this real life FIGHTER in person. I asked her to share some of what she has gone through for our Spin Story segment.
“My name is Sheila Arrieta. I’m 27 years old and last year I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was a difficult time especially with chemotherapy which tested me as a person, but with the help of family and friends I was able to push through. Today I’m 5 months post chemo ready to take on life by the horns.
I begin my health journey to become a better person and inspire others around me. Don’t let anything get in your way! It’s all mind over matter! Thank you RedBike for the additional motivation and energy I needed at this stage in my recovery.”
Sheila, you’re an inspiration to us all. Thank you for being a part of the RedPack.
